Exodus is a traffic control game released by Yubi Games.

“Are you enough skilled to manage your own space fleet? Have you enough courage to avoid all the dangers that populate the universe? Do you think that you have steel nerves? Then Exodus needs you! Your goal is travel from distant planets rescuing people by putting them safely on Space Stations docks.”

The basics of the game, are you are given control of the space around several space docks. You need to plot paths for the incoming ship ships to follow to allow them to dock safely and avoid crashes. The game continues until a crash happens and it is game over.

The game has a simple design and you basically have the goals of filling the space stations with people so if they have a green centre so you can move onto the next level. As the game advances there are added dangers added to the game, such as black holes.

There are several different space ships. The larger ships are slower with more people onboard and the small ones are fast with few people.

The game has a fast forward mode (double speed), which to be honest in the early level you will be leaving on full time, as the game moves too slowly and lacks excitement. However, once the first few levels are complete the action improves with the strategy of avoiding dangers makes things more complex.

The game is controlled by touching the aircraft and dragging a path to the landing areas, however, I found that controlling the ships coming on the base of the screen left me sending the card mode.

The graphics and sound are very good.

I have played the iOS version of the game and it stands up well with almost identical gameplay.

On the upside:

  • Fast and fun gameplay.
  • Great mix of planning and strategy to avoid crashing the ships.

On the downside:

  • Accidently sending into card mode when trying to navigate a ships to a landing pad.
  • Very slow to get going.

Overall, this game has been around a while on iOS and now makes its way to the Touchpad. The game itself is a solid, if a little slow to get started. If you are looking for more flight control action this game is a good choice, but you will probably find yourself playing on fast forward for the first few stations.
