Two more free Touchpad applications get the round up treatment today.

ScummVM (kayahr)  : 63%

This application allows you to run some classic point and click adventures of the past on the Touchpad. I downloaded Beneath a Steel Sky from the ScummVM website, a game I still own on one of my old computers. The idea behind the game is it allows the point and click to work with the Touch screen, this is true, but it can be a major pain in the behind to do something that was so simple with a mouse. For example, to call up the menu you need to swipe up with two fingers. To right click, you need to hold a finger down and tap with another. Add this to the fact that you need to download the software, unzip it, move it into the game folder and then set up the game. Well as you can see it is probably a bit too much time and effect for most people. However, if you truly love your point and click adventure, know where to legally get the files and have the patience to learn the Touch Screen functionality then this may be worth a look.

Rage Maker : 53%

This is a bit of a strange application. It offers you nine images on one page of some rage comic characters, including the infamous “Y U No” guy. You are able to change the premade images (14 available) by swiping left and right on the image. You can set a caption by clicking on the text below them. So in some ways you can make a comic strip of images. However, you have to screen shot using the power and home button as the app does not support saving the image. If you double tap on an image it zooms in massively and stays in the ninth of the screen it was it. The app works, but it does not really achieve anything, it is fun to play with for a few minutes, but after that all interest is gone.
