DigiTask Pad: The best Task Manager is a task management system released by DigiKat Software.

When you open the app you need to enter your email for the app services.

You can set up categories to filter your task, there a category called “Other”, but the app will not let you remove this, so do not try.

It is quick and easy to set up tasks and the form helps you enter the correct details.

With the tasks themselves you can add notes, due dates, repeats and even milage as well as priority if you want to use them.

My biggest complaint about the application is the filtering of task once they are in your list. If you have a lot of long term tasks then the list is overwhelming and mixed up. It sorts alphabetically and does not highlight overdue tasks well. So if I have five tasks to do today and a list of twenty tasks finding the ones for today is a nightmare.

The user interface is good. Task entry is simple and well layout out.

On the upside:

  • Well designed user interface.
  • Easy to use and set up task.
  • Repeating Tasks are available (lacking in many other task management tools)

On the downside:

  • Poor filtering options.
  • Lack of highlighting of over due tasks.

Overall, DigiTask Pad is a good task management system, however, for me lacks some functions that would make it excellent. I personally keep a lot of future tasks and the filtering just does not let me hide them away, using categories could do this, but I do not wish to be spending time switching categories. The title of this app says it is the best task manager and it maybe the best of the Touchpad for now at least.
