Evernote Peek is an iPad 2 and smart cove puzzle game released by Evernote.

The application allows you to set up quizzes and then using the peek mode of the iPad 2 and Smart Cover to reveal the questions.

The basics of the game, has you setting up questions in a notebook, and then using the questions and answers to run your quiz from. There is one demo quiz to use. However, this is a bit of a limitation of the application as you need to set up the quizzes and therefore know the answers, so only really good if testing others.

The game is controlled by selecting a puzzle, then lifting the smart cover, peeking at the question, and then lifting the whole cover to see the answer and you can then mark if you answered the question correctly or not.

The user interface is simple but is just what is needed.

On the upside:

  • Well designed user interface.
  • Great use of the smart cover.

On the downside:

  • You know the answers to the quizzes you set up.
  • Limited to iPad 2 and Smart cover users.

Overall, this is a great use of the iPad 2 and the smart cover, however, also means the game will have a limited amout of users in the iOS community. The quiz making is good, and works well if you are using the quiz on someone else. There is application is great for parents who want to give little quizzes to there children.
