KUNGFU FOOD PANDA HD – REVIEW (71%)

15 Jun

KungFu Food Panda HD is a Fruit Ninja clone released by Topzilla.

The game put you into the role of a Fu, a chinese cook who needs to cut up the food that is thrown into your kitchen.

Immediately on starting this game is becomes apparent that this game is really a clone of Fruit Ninja, and also borrows from KungFu Panda. It is almost the same as Fruit Ninja, even in the way the game modes work and the unlocking of blades and backgrounds.

The basics of the game, is that you have three lives available. You slice food as it is thrown onto the screen, you need to slice it and if you miss one of the food stuffs you will lose a life. If you slice a poison bottle you will also lose a life.

The game is controlled by swiping the screen were you need to cut.

The graphics and sound are good.

On the upside:

  • Fast and Fun gameplay.
  • Three game modes.

On the downside:

  • Advert at bottom of the screen, but you can do an in-app purchase to remove it.
  • When you do something good or bad, the panda appears can be somewhat annoying.

Overall, this is another fun to play Fruit Ninja clone. It is also free at this time. If you do not own Fruit Ninja or similar games it is worthwhile getting as long as you can live with the small advert down the bottom.
