Here are some of the headline that grabbed the attention this week.

  • Apple hold WWDC and announce iOS 5, iCloud and OS X Lion.
  • iTunes updated to 10.3.1 (with some iCloud features)
  • OS X Lion out in July for £21.
  • The message from WWDC is “It just works.”
  • iMessage in iOS 5
  • iBook is updated with Read-Aloud on some titles.
  • iCloud adds Find my Mac.
  • Apple change mind on in-app subscription.
  • Apple tells developers it will pay legal costs against Lodsys.
  • Apple will build a new headquarter, it will be bigger than the Pentagon.
  • MobileMe service to close June 2012, iCloud is expected to replace all the services lost.
  • Rumour: iTunes in the Cloud music will not be in the UK until at least 2012.
  • Rumour: 1st gen iPad may not get all features in iOS 5.
  • Reeder now available for Mac.
  • Plants vs Zombies gets a major update.

In other tech news:

  • HP Touchpad will be available on July 1st – Same price as iPad.
  • PlayStation Vita priced to combat the iPod Touch.
