Wunderlist is a task management system released by 6 Wunderkinder.

Wunderlist is a cloud based task manager system that allows you to sync your tasks over the air and share lists with others.

Wunderlist is available for the iPhone, their is an HD version for iPad, a Mac Application (available on their website) and even a website to access your tasks. Best of all, all these applications are free to use.

Once you have set up a Wunderlist account you are ready to start. Do not worry you can enter tasks offline, you just need the account for SYNCing in order to access your tasks everywhere.

You can creates lists/projects to store your tasks in, or use the inbox. Then you can start entering the tasks, you can add notes and due dates, as well as priority if you want to use them.

There are lots of filters to help you view your tasks.

The user interface is excellent. You just need to remember to press the add button on the add task rather than tapping away from it (which cancels the entry on the iPad version)

On the upside:

  • Well designed user interface.
  • Easy to use and set up task
  • Tasks via Email is also very useful option
  • Excellent syncing

On the downside:

  • Lack of repeating tasks

Overall, Wunderlist is an excellent task management system, it is only the lack of repeating tasks that stops me from recommending it whole heartedly. I only other concern is how much longer it can be offered for free, before adverts or payment is required.
