PRINCE OF HAZEL AND OAK – REVIEW (80%)

03 Mar

The Prince of Hazel and Oak is the second book in the shadow magic series written by John Lenahan.

This book tells the tale of a Conor who has returned the real world after his time in Tir na Nog and he finds it not want he imaged, he is even arrested for the murder his father, who disappeared from the real world at the same time as him.

However, Conor is soon back in the Tir na Nog, along with a very confused cop from the real world.

On the upside:

  • Well read and produced
  • Interesting characters

On the downside:

  • Nothing really

Overall, this is a well written book and a good follow up to the Shadow Magic book. I am looking forward to the third book when it is released. This is the perfect book for young adults to read, but is good for all ages.
